asmurff Posted October 28, 2013 Report Posted October 28, 2013 My Taurus Judge arrived at my local FFL late this afternoon, I'll pick it up around 10am tomorrow, hopefully heading straight to the range afterwards if the weather cooperates. Pictures to follow.
asmurff Posted October 29, 2013 Author Report Posted October 29, 2013 It is here, but I didn't get to go shoot it today. Damn dishwasher is on the fritz again, no no the electric one.
techmike Posted November 8, 2013 Report Posted November 8, 2013 Very cool, I got mine way back, I have a vertical shoulder rig for it, very comfy to carry, has an ammo carrier on the off side. Only thing is, be careful at the range - I first tried it with bird shot, and got ricochets in the face from the target frame. I now only use buck or 45 colt rounds.

By the time it got 10 yards out I was creaming my target, and both targets to the right and left of me. Went to buck and 45lc after that for range use. But for home use, I usually keep a couple of rounds of bird shot in a couple of cylinders.
asmurff Posted November 8, 2013 Author Report Posted November 8, 2013 I like the buck also and the PDX from Winchester which has a healthy kick. I was thinking 4 or 6 shot for snakes.BTW TM what brand holster did you get?
techmike Posted November 9, 2013 Report Posted November 9, 2013 It is an Uncle Mike's sidekick, size #2, vertical shoulder holster, and I got the ammo carrier for the off side. I was always going to get a leather rig, but this one was a lot less expensive and it distributes the weight nicely.
