asmurff Posted December 17, 2014 Report Share Posted December 17, 2014 I'm going to put these grips on my compact (Armscor made) 1911, plus paint the receiver & slide with duracoat. My inclination is to do the receiver in the matching dark color from the grip camo pattern and one of the lighter colors for the slide.Thoughts? So I would paint both receiver and slide lighter. I think it would look good with those grips. Then I would paint the mag release, take down lever etc. the dark color for accent.
