Interesting.  Since it is horizontally displaced it will co-witness at only one range and Kentucky Windage will be necessary at any other range.  Personally I would have preferred it to be mounted on top.  For me having to adjust vertically is a bit easier.

Having just sighted in an Eotech 517 with a laser bore sighter yesterday, I will say this ... you would NEVER want both the Eolad and the HOLO on at the same time. The laser blends right in with the HOLO reticle and you just plain lose it ... very hard to stay acquired. I would never try to view the laser through the Eotech sight window or even try to co-witness irons on it. I would just have the laser sighted in on POI @ 25 yards and call it good ... point and shoot.
