techmike
If you go here, scroll down and click on Texas, you will get your info. However, for the most accurate info, contact the Texas Dept.of Public Safety. TM(Notice how Texas starts with a capital T) ;D

asmurff
I thought in Texas rifles were only allowed to be transported loaded and in a rifle rack in the rear window of a Ford, Chevrolet, GMC or Dodge pickup truck ;D Only kidding lmao
Madhouse
Rifles can be carried about any which way. It's good to err on the cautious side however, and transport it unloaded, in a case.Of course, a gun rack is the best-looking and most decorative method to tote your long guns! C:-)
