The wife and I went to the Gun & Blade Show at the New Mexico Expo (state fairgrounds) today and had a very good time. The crowds have come back to normal, there was plenty of ammo and reloading supplies to be had, some a bit pricey still, but they are coming down, even saw .380 at several stalls. One thing I must say, we often go to other types of shows there and the crowds and vendors are much different. If someone bumps you at the gun show they almost always say "Excuse me." At car shows you might get one depending on the types of cars being shown. Arts & Craft fairs forget it, you'll be lucky if they don't blame you. Gun vendors have got to be the friendliest people, they want your business, but a willing to just chat also.

I picked up a nice rifle bag for my 10/22 in ACU camo and a New Mexico Sport Shooters Association patch (I've been a member for a couple of years) but this is the first time they've had the patch, now I can add it to my shooting jacket. Hunny Bunny picked up info on the NRA Whittington Center here in NM, plus  stuff on a woman's shooting group. She suprised me she was looking at pocket knives with Damascus blades, and told me coming home she'd like one so I think I'll get her a Böker one for Mother's Day. All in all a nice day with my "Better Half".

PS also got me a great white bratwurst with saurekraut, one of the reason for going to Expo NM

There's nothing more pleasant than an outing with the bride, especially to something like a gun or car show. The craft fairs can get a little rugged to get thru, especially if the old crones are blocking the isles.

Sounds like enjoyment ensued. The wifey poo has good tastes with that Damascus. I'm also a fan. And just hearing about the brat has started me belching. Wish I'd been there.  :thumb:
