Cyclone
I kinda got my eyes on a Taurus Raging Bull 44 Mag 6inch barrel in Blue. I love the Blue job on it. So who can give me a bit of a review on them. I have two Taurus guns now a 24/7 9mm and a 738 380acp. Both are excellent

Cyclone
I looked a used one for $500 but the blueing was worn on the muzzle and cylinder. I would rather spend another $100 bucks and be the first one to scuff it :o This is the 8 inch. Oh they come in 454 too O0
imschur
I would do the same
Microgunner
The Raging Bull is huge. As in 14 or 15 pounds. ;D They come with a scope base and were designed for hunting. Did I mention they are huge?

Microgunner
Yeah, I was just kidding about the weight. We've had a few. They look nicely built. I've never fired one though.
rodent.22
I think you have to splint your shooting arm with a 2X4 PRIOR to firing that bad boy....Just kidding! A REALLY NICE arm!!! :thumb:
asmurff
I shot a Super Redhawk once to much for me :-[ not with arthritis no way
imschur
Cyclone, if you havent shot a .44 mag before the group brings up a valid point regarding recoil. I have a Redhawk in .44 mag, when i bring it to the range very seldom can I get through a box of ammo. That includes asking everyone around me to shoot it. Not trying to discourage just want to be sure you know what your getting into. On the flip side shooting at metal plates is a blast. Where centerfire rifle .308 blast through and .45's dribble off without barely a dent the .44 mag mangles, twist's and destroys satisfying my destructive inner child.KABOOOOOOOM!!!
Cyclone
Yes I have shot a 44mag before. A Smith 629 and a Ruger Super Redhawk. I just want one (you know how it is) there are less and more powerfull handguns out there but the 44 mag is what I want. But I am going to wait till this fall I just got home from a 3 day motorcycle rally in Arkansas and decided to have my bike seat redone, new foam custom stitched leather with some embroidery stitching too :thumb: I need the seat for the summer the gun can wait till fall. Unless I see the right deal for a used one.
