imschur Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 CMMG has a cool .22 now. Imo it's pretty hard to ignore the price if you want a dedicated .22 thats completely compatible with mil spec AR-15's
Microgunner Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 Now that is a attractive option. I hope they pan out.
tatumColtM16bryan Posted January 11, 2011 Report Posted January 11, 2011 hey guys. what is the deal with these CMMG .22lr? they are suppose to operate just like an AR-15 correct? what is the difference between the Quebec .22 and the M4LEP22 versions? they are both gas operated and have a true 1 piece barrel correct? i'm super interested in these things as an alternative to the Umarex/HK 416 and was just wondering what the real advantage was other than it being "mil-spec" and hopefully easier to clean/breakdown. any input would be great.
imschur Posted January 11, 2011 Author Report Posted January 11, 2011 The advantage is they are a true AR-15 lower and a 5.56 upper can be utilized.
crashoverrideplik Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 I own a Quebec A. It's a quality piece. I bought it because it's a real AR and the upper can be swapped. I also got a .223 upper and a 9 mm upper when I bought it.
Michigan Joe Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 Where are they selling these? I am having trouble finding them online. Thanks in advance for any replies.
crashoverrideplik Posted February 8, 2011 Report Posted February 8, 2011 Where are they selling these? I am having trouble finding them online. Thanks in advance for any replies.Your FFL can get them direct from CMMG. My local gun shop carries them. I did a tour of their factory before I bought one. They have a "outlet" store in Columbia Missouri where they do bargin bin specials, etc. The place is called Black Rifle. If you are every in the area it can be damaging to your wallet :)
