I think the issues is often times the serial number stuff is automatic and nobody is going to disrupt production, especially when the stuff isnt made in house. Firearms like custom 1911's can be ordered with custom serial numbers. I will be doing it shortly myself. Im getting a 1911 Caspian frame "Yogi1" or something to that affect
The guy behind the NightHawk .22 conversions Bob Marvel sells his own as well. They are the ones to get, the standard. The Nighthawk is a little different design, a 3rd model. The Marvels are based on the original Colt .22 1911 callled the "Ace" I have the Marvel "Unit 2" model private labeled by Wilson Combat. I have a thread here on it.
psst Tal http://www.kimberamerica.com/1911/rimfire or really go for the gold of conversion units http://www.nighthawktactical.com/22-conversion-units.html
Battle Arms Development is famously known for their BAD A.S.S Ambidextrous Safety Selector. Their participation at 308ar.com has been very successful for everyone involved. Very soon they will be releasing a product to benefit one of the platforms here at tactical22.net. in the meantime I encourage members to check out the BAD ASS at Brownells. If you currently own a BAD ASS leave a 5 star review.
