schur, tal, those are awesome tales of people gaining a sensible perspective. My wife is not fond of guns. When I bought my first one we battled, like knock-down drag-out, crying, etc. But I made my case and she accepts them now just because I forced it. If she had her way, there would not be a gun in this house. It's sad really, I cannot convince her at all. And every male friend we have has at least one or two guns, and some friends who are beyond me in their collecting. She still will not buy off on accepting them.

I don't know if I took in more calories during dinner, or in the dozen beers I had afterwards. :)

I can't remember, seems like the rifle was less than $300 and the scope is like $40 maybe?

I took four different ammos out with me. Wind was terrible but the groups were still ok at 50 yards. Left target was Hornady 17gr V-Max Top was Winchester 17gr Supreme V-Max Bottom was Remington Premier 17gr AccuTip V-Max Right was CCI TNT 17gr JHP

Man, I love shooting this rifle, so much fun! Savage 93R17, in .17HMR. Bolt action rifle with a BSA Sweet 17 scope. :thumb:

Glad to hear the new mags are working well so far. I've got mags stamped BDM, Model 1 Sales, and Sig - they all seem identical and I've never had any feed issues with any of them.

My buddy picked up an Oly AR at the Pasadena show yesterday. Did you get anything Tal?
