I hope you didn't think I was knocking your state. I love visiting NJ, the variety of food which I can't find in NM is fantastic. Love the boardwalks, Twin Lighthouse, Sandy Hook and Cape May. Atlantic City ain't bad either.

Welcome to the group. Love the description of NJ. My parents live there and it is one of the few places I travel I won't take a concealed pistol even though NJ supposedly recognizes my permit.

Price-wise to modify a 10/22 to a tactical look will cost as much as buying a tactical rifle off the rack. Modifying it yourself gives it a fun factor, sense of pride in doing it yourself and a great learning experience. My tactical 10/22 including price of rifle comes to about $800 with stock, scope, trigger, 5 magazines, fore grip & muzzle brake. It was a lot of fun to put together and is very accurate at the 25 to 50 yards I use it at in Tactical rim fire matches.

I got it working again. I think the only thing wrong after I reinstalled it was I hadn't restarted IE or my computer it was working fine when I got on this morning. I wish these updates would quit hiding extras in them, or be required at least have large notice to let you opt out.

I installed an Adobe Flash update the other day and didn't notice it was going to install Goggle Chrome & a Google Toolbar, so afterward I uninstall both, only uninstalling Chrome cause a register error, I had to edit out. Once I fix it I wasn't being able to right click to check spelling. I uninstalled and reinstalled ispell still no luck. Ideas?

I'd never priced .50bmg, but the price doesn't suprise me. I'm not a fan of .50 anyway, after all the times I had to lug the linked .50 to fill the the ammo cans for the B-52 tail guns, 2400 rounds a plane that stuff gets heavy quick.

You may be able to get a wood stock kit from H&K but it appears to take some work to fit it to the 522.

The DHS is way out of control, we needed no more law enforcement agencies and we certainly didn't need an additional Army. Disband it now!
