All 12ga from left to right they are a Winchester Heavy, Winchester Xpert Steel Shot and Winchester AA 24 gram. All are 2-3/4 inch hulls fired by me are all of them reloadable. By my reloading books the 1st and 3rd should be with lead shot or buckshot. The Xpert should be left for steel shot I assume. Am I right or wrong. The AA obviously has a brass base, I'm not sure of the other two. This shot shell reloading would be much easier if everyone would use the same play book and just one set of numbers. Any help in the form of web sites who simplify all this or good books on the subject would be appreciated.

The M1 Carbine 10/22 project is one I've been thinking about. Citadel/Legacy makes one also, but I haven't had a chance to check one out.

Our lack of rain is getting to be depressing, a quarter inch on one day would do my veggies wonders. -

Mine always has been, but not very fast on acquiring a sight picture, so I replaced the rear sight with a Tactical solutions which can also be used to mount a reflex sight or scope. I swapped out the front for a fiber optic one don't remember the brand brand. My times have gotten better in our Tactical rimfire matches with this set-up. My only complaint ever about the pistol is the magazine release button is very stiff even after 11 years. Not go for rapid mag changes in competition.

Well my AR was never the problem, it's switch is covered the camo tape on the foreend vertical grip. My shotgun is the one I can get to stay on.

I have several lights and lasers on guns with pressure switches you have to attach somewhere. The pads they come with never stick for long, even if I clean the attaching point with alcohol. Other than taping them in place does anyone have a better method or adhesive they use?

I hope everyone has a wonderful Independence Day. We our having a cook-out with immediate family, burgers corn, on the cob, potato salad and watermelon can get much more American than the menu. Plus I have about $100 worth of legal fireworks for after dark.

I didn't really think it needed any protection, beyond being lightly lube and put in the ziplock.

Now I have the .22 conversion kit, the .223 bolt carrier group spends more time out of the rifle than in it. I know they're pretty tough but does anyone know if there is a protective container sold by anyone to put one in? Right now it is in a zip lock bag in the gun cabinette, but I want to take it with me to the range so I can shoot some of the .22 and some .223.

Weather is crazy everywhere. Are you getting the scorching heat also? We've had higher than usual temps but not record breaking. I'm sure it will show on my electric bill. The last measurable rain we had at my house was 2 June and it was only .01" -

I use a search set up from the NRA which helps them make money. I have Goggle also but rarely use it anymore.

Great pics, they are very hard to photograph and are so skittish.
