National right-to-carry legislation to be voted on tomorrow.
asmurff replied to imschur's topic in General Talk
I've been badgering my Representative for quite some time about this bill. Whether he'll vote for it or not remains to be seen, he never responses to emails or letter except to say he go them, the worthless piece of feces. -
Glad to have you.

I know 2 people with these pistols and both use plain High Velocity CCI Mini-Mags and I've shot one with Federal High Velocity. Which is the same ammo I use in my Browning Buckmark Camper.

To all the other veterans, I hope you have a great day and thank you!

I shoot a tricked out 10/22 in Rimfire Tactical matches the targets are generally 25yd since shooters can use rifles or pistols. 50 to 100 yds when I'm trying to improve my accuracy. I have an el cheapo Marlin bolt action .22 I love to use off the bench with bi-pod at 50 yards on small challenging targets. 3626_d94588ef91080acaf0b024874990dcc4fec8b288.pdf 3627_b264eca58923f5e0db319cffea8e60bfe18bab06.pdf 3628_6dc88944d6402a0e12a7042e8b8c1caede2278ba.pdf

Don't you hate it when life gets in the way of your shooting fun. I bet I haven't been to the range in more than a month and I usuallly go at least once a week. Maybe I should go back to work *NOT* perhaps I could find the time then to go shooting. Between closing down the garden, winterizing the power outdoor machines, prepping the house for winter, I just seem to keep running out of time, or the weather is against me. Maybe next week!

Frankie where in Jersey, I have family in Jackson?

I'd heard a few years back not to buy the .22 1911 conversion from them/him. I couldn't tell you where I heard it, but I didn't buy one. Guess now I should be glad I didn't.

I've seen their holsters and am glad to hear they are a stand up company.

I had forgotten about the Combat Rifle pages :o with all the 10/22 links on it.

I am not a fan of snow, one of the reason I live in NM we get very little here and it usually melts by late afternoon. Those of you in the northeast have just been getting pounded by bad weather. Hope it gets fixed sooner than later, I know it is putting financial strain on companies and the older infrastructure along the east coast.

It was a good starter scope for me, since I knew nothing about them and still know very little. For our Tactical .22 matches at its lowest setting it is prefect for steel plates of 4" to 8". It gives old eyes the boost I need.

I have a BEC scope 3-9X32 on mine, it is nothing fancy and by no means top end, but it looks good and serves me well in both Tactical .22 matches and attempts at precision shooting. I believe I purchased it from Cheaper Than Dirt for $40-50.

Hornady is coming out with Zombie Max ammo, Brownells is pre-selling it.

Cool, glad it all worked good. I do most of my drawing practice with out live ammo, because I do practice it a lot and couldn't afford the ammo. Good your range allows it, many don't. Our gun club does allow it in the close-in pistol bays and the IDPA bays.

There are more sites catering to the 10/22 than you can shake a stick at. Just do a search for 10/22 accessories and have fun and go broke at the same time. >:D Here a couple 1022fungun.com, eabco.com. You'll be amazed at what you can do to the 10/22, I love mine and will eventually build a couple of diferent ones.
