The amount of money I could spend on knives if I didn't behave would cover some 3rd World Countries budget. :-[

Okay I know I'm boring but it is still; Citadel 3.5" 1911 in a NRA Slide Holster I may be starting the hunt for a new holster soon. I want something that will keep the forward cant I like, but capable of being removed without removing my belt.

So what kinda help? A 12-step program or donations ::)

I have them on my 10/22 I use in Tactical Rimfire Matches and my ST-15 from Spikes. They are identical Magpul http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=2319118741. This grip works for me because I have arthritis in my wrist and it allows me to shoot without bending or twisting my wrist at all.

I may never catch up to Madhouse, but I have over a 1000 rounds of most calibers I use except for .22 and I have over that amount in both CCI Mini Mags and Federal Auto Match. I buys some sort of ammo or reloading component every payday.

Picked up my poppy outside of the Cabela's in Phoenix, wore it in my shirt button hole all day long.

We have 7 varities of rattlesnakes and 1 type of coral snake here in the Land of Enchantment. They killed a 6 foot western diamondback at the gun club last year.

I like to fish, but in NM if you fish from the bank you have to have rod & reel, plus a gun loaded with snake shot. Seriously if you don't own a boat the fishing is pretty tough here, since we've been drought conditions for several years all the lakes and reseviors are very low and the game and fish people have said it has cause problems with the fish population. Trout fishing in the mountian streams & rivers is good with both golden and browns. We get a lot of out state fly fisherman in to fish the San Juan river.

Will the after market covers for AR-15/M16/M4s fit? Or would that not solve the problem?

A broken in 10/22 will eat most ammo. I don't have issues with the noise, but wind so I don't use subsonics because we can get such strong winds here, today being a good example we're having gust to 45mph with sustained around 30mph. I keep a magazine for my Browning Buckmark Camper loaded with Aquila Colibri in case I need to deal with a coyote after my dogs here in the neighborhood, no sense in waking the neighbors.

I've never had problems with ammo just because it came from Wal-Mart, it isn't like they are buying seconds. A bad lot of ammo is cheaper for the manufacturers to destroy than to even try and defend in a civil law suit. I tend to stick with Federal and CCI because overall I have less problems with them than any other all around.

We had another work day at my gun club today, as we continue to get ready for the New Mexico State Sporting Clays Championship 2011. Somehow we ended up with what is suppose to be the windiest day this week, between fighting the wind and the work I was beat after just 3 hours. Granted it doesn't take much for me with my dimimished capacity, but I still always try to go, I can at least carry tools, lighter materials and hold things while other nail or screw them together. It amazes me and kind of ticks me off that it is only us old farts who show up for these work days. At least 2 of those there today I know were medically retired from the military, along with myself and at least one other with bad hearts. I along with others think your membership should be the annual fee and at least some sort of volunteering per year. Okay kicking my soap box back under the desk for now ::)
