I'm going to put these grips on my compact (Armscor made) 1911, plus paint the receiver & slide with duracoat. My inclination is to do the receiver in the matching dark color from the grip camo pattern and one of the lighter colors for the slide. Thoughts?

I've found better options, two local gun shops who say hi Mike when I come in and the internet.

You'd think with the number of years they've had to practice on shortage items they've have learned to go for widespread customer satisfaction, but I guess as long as they sell it they don't care. I rarely shop gun items their anymore, only camping and prep items.
