I usually get one or 2 duds out of a Federal value pack also, but that brings up a question. How is the primer material put into the rim of a .22? I'm just curious and took a few minutes to search but didn't find the answer yet, so if anyone knows a link post it please.

I found some containers at Home Depot I use, hadn't thought of the foam I just loosend the primer punch pin. I went and fired my test rounds this morning all of them fired, had 2 with Federal brass that did feed properly, here in a bit I'll take the calipers to them and see if I can figure out why.

Once you get past the aggravation of the set up the repetitiveness of reloading is actually relaxing, and if you do it fast enough is aerobic 8). It took me a lot of trial and error today to get the neck flair right, but after it did it went fast.

That is why when I win the Power Ball I'm by one of each gun first >:D

Late last year I got a Lee Pro 1000 Reloader set up for 9mm. Since then I've reloaded well over 1000 rounds of 9mm. Today I did what I needed to do the set up the dies for .45acp in a seperate turret so I can make quick changes from 9mm to .45acp by simply changing out the turrets and shell holders. After I got it all set up I produced enough rounds to go test tomorrow to insure all is good. After that I'lll build up my stock pile of .45acp also. Next I guess I'll get the dies and turret for .380, although I only sshot it enough to stay proficient.

Ended up running to a couple of stores then stayed inside. Spent the afternoon depriming, and cleaning 600+ pieces of .45acp brass, I'll start reloading it today.

Naw, just like tinkering with them and shooting them. After I get an AR-15 style rifle, I'm going to do some more 10/22s. I'll have 4 empty slots in the gun safe >:D

Glad you joined us, sorry can't help much with you question since all I have is a 10/22 tricked out to be tacticool. But several members have several different tactical .22s.

It is suppose to be 100 degrees or more here the next 3 days, so indoor activities are the plan. Oh Hunny Bunny ;D

Welcome to the bunch. There may not be a cure for rimfireitis, but the treatment of a steady supply of .22 going down range is the most fun treatment of my different ailments >:D
