Due to the ammo shortage, air guns are gaining in popularity, let's see yours!

Very realistic, surprisingly accurate, cheap to shoot. I just read that some police departments are using airsoft for training due to ammunition shortages.

These have come a long way since I was a kid. I used to have a "cartridge" belt that held my spare cylinders.

We have a Gander in Toledo, a Bass Pro just south, and Cabelas 15 miles north just over in Michigan. Major temptation on my days off..... I mostly gave up on Gander when they stopped selling reloading supplies. Size wise they are smaller than both Bass Pro and Cabelas, but offered good prices on some firearms - they would order a huge amount of specific packages and name it a Gander Exclusive.

I have a bunch of their .357 and 12 ga 00 buck - very well made ammunition. Not only functions well, it looks good too.

News story in our local rag today, the Gander Mountain store in Toledo is joining a small group of Gander's stores to convert to an all-gun format. The exec VP described it as "firearms, ammunition, firearms related apparel and tactical gear". It will be called Gander Mountain Firearms Super Center. :thumb: I may have to go get a job there. ;D

I have a 1000 62 grain bullets, but they are tracers and I need H335 to load them. Of course there is no H335 to be had.

You might have to run a few hundred standard or high velocity rounds through it, let the parts wear in a bit. Clean & lube then re-try the sub-sonics.

+1 on MG's advice. Tighten it and mark the top of the flash suppressor so you can get it back to the same spot every time. Nice looking guns guys!

Just received night sights for my STI Spartan III. Got them from Dawson Precision. Three week lead time, they actually had to make them. Hey Smurf, where did you order your "boolits" from? I just received 500 69 grainers from Powder Valley.

Not a bad price, considering. I think I paid $28 for mine way back when. Thanks for the tip!

20" rifle kit, complete. I got a couple of stripped lowers last year, ordered two kits just before the insane-ness hit. Took a while, but I will end up with two AR's at under $600 each.
