  1. Hi Danny.
  2. Hi Dave, & welcome!
  3. Welcome and enjoy your Colt!
  4. Howdy!
  5. Nice. Is that a repro of the tanker holster?
  6. Welcome to Tac22,and nice looking rifle! :thumb:
  7. Selling my .17 HMR revolver. It is a fun gun to shoot, big boom and no recoil. I have put 60 rounds thru it, but am not the original owner. Comes with box, manual & factory goodies, scope mount, two hand gun scopes: a Walther 2x20 & a Barska red dot, a .17 cal bore snake, and if FTF in Ohio, 140 rounds ammunition. It is in great shape, works flawlessly, (other than getting gritty from the ammo). Asking $380 FTF Toledo Ohio area, Ohio CHL required, or ship to your FFL on your dime. If shipped, ammunition not included. Thanks, TM
  8. Looking at the parts breakdown, part# 33, a "spring loaded thrust pad" appears to be the culprit. After I actually took mine apart, yep, there it is - part #33. Mine is working as expected, and holds the front pin in place. You might try a drop of light oil, and try to "exercise" the ball. Sometimes a ball detent will get stuck when dry. If that does not work, a call or email to Umarex would be in order. There are also 2ea part #33's in the trigger group. Regards, TM
  9. Hi Greg and welcome to Tac22. My Colt M4 does not have the ball detent that you are asking about. (It is 2 years old) With the flash hider tight, the forward pin is not going anywhere, so I am thinking it is a non issue. Also, unless you are completely disassembling your M4, I would suggest not removing the flash hider, just loosen 2 turns to take the tension off the pins - if you have the flash hider removed or too loose and bump the muzzle, the barrel will move in the slide housing and, the slide catch spring and pin will become dislodged. I know this to be true. ;D Regards, TM
  10. Welcome to you and your arsenal!
  11. Welcome, and thanks for your service.
  12. Excellent - welcome to Tac.22. :thumb:
  13. Hey 44TB, sorry to hear about your problems. I would suggest getting a few bulk boxes of Federal at WalMart, I have found that ammo to be reliable and accurate in my Colt. (with the exception of one box that Federal offered to replace) Adjust your mainspring in 4 complete turns from flush. Make sure the rifle is clean and lubed, and don't forget Rodent's advice of cleaning the firing pin. Get 500 to a 1000 rounds of that ammo through it and see if that settles it down. TM
  14. Welcome - Where in Kali are you from?
  15. Hey Cgood311, welcome to the forum. Some folk use automotive brake cleaning spray, but I still use Hoppe's #9, and Gunslick foaming bore cleaner for the clean up. For lube I use Break Free except for the bolt where I use Slide Glide. TM
  16. Howdy!
  17. Old Tech!!
  18. Not bad at all!!
  19. As much as I like the shuttles, they are old, old technology. I only wish we had a replacement on the pad before we canned them. Space tech is one of only a few areas I do not mind my tax $$ being spent on.
  20. Hi Andy & welcome. I had to replace my mainspring after about a year, it was worn and kinked. Umarex stated I had it too tight. Current recommendation from Colt is flush for standard velocity ammo, and in 4 turns only for high velocity.
  21. Yep. What he said. +1 :thumb:
  22. I think it's more than 22's. An Ohio self defense web site I monitor has a sale/trade forum-almost all sales are real slow.
  23. That IS slick....
  24. Have not seen one of those. :thumb:
