  1. As far as lead poisioning the ground water that is total BS, here in eastern Virginia you can stick a shovel in the ground and come up with bullets from the Civil War or the Revolutionary War, haven't heard of water contamination yet. What science is being used to determine this ''contamination''?
  2. sounds like a UNIQUE fellow....
  3. Go to Lowes and talk to the guys at the doors and windows desk. They have brochures and catalogues with a zillion different sizes of windows- a shower or bathroom ''light'' type window might work well....
  4. Wobblinwheel the notch on my C/U M4 was cut deep enough to BARELY latch the cover. Just tap the gun and it would spring open. The engraved DPMS cover supplied by the engraver has NEVER latched. I don't really care, I like the engraving to show....
  5. oops, the 19 is not listed....
  6. Try the Firing Line Forums- Buy, Sell and Trade. There's a kit posted on there.... :thumb:
  7. NICE collection!
  8. Hiya ajshooter22- it's a standard ar15 cover, supplied by DPMS to the engraver. When they say it won't work on the Colt they mean it won't stay closed. It fits just fine....
  9. We are at my daughter's now, opened gifts last nite. Since Christmas is falling on the weekend, I don't get any days off. It's capitalism at it's best.
  10. I have a colt/umarex OPS and really like it. The S&W 15/22 is good also.... :thumb:
  11. Welcome! There are others here older than dirt....

  21. Yeah the M4 Colt/Umarex is bought mainly for the cool factor, plus the rails will take every accessory known to man. A scope is easily mounted, and the stock options are endless. :thumb:
  22. wobblinwheel sold me a Colt/Umarex collapsible stock, EXACTLY as advertised, fast shipment, strictly on the up-and-up. I recommend him as a straight-up guy to do business with! :thumb:
  23. I'll take it, sent PM...
  24. Hey Glowin- it's bad here in the states, the ""I'm okay, you're okay bunch '' is like a pack of dogs at the throats of all shooters. The fools would disarm all but the criminal element......
  25. I am as likely to miss with a .22, 9mm, or .45. If given a choice my P90 in .45 is good. Very big but VERY reliable with hollowpoints. My P95 in 9mm a little bit easier to hide and VERY reliable with hollowpoints. I also have a 5 shot .38 that I enjoy carrying. I simply cannot believe that a .45 round is not sufficient to stop 99.99 % of attackers. Mentally I think of the .45 as a one-shot, The 9mm or .38 as a probable multiple shot scenario. Just my 2 cents worth, I'm REALLY enjoying this discussion....
