Maybe part of an agreement made with a local Anti chapter to avoid them picketing their establishment. Even pro gunners will do anti things in order to protect their income in the short term.
RSR Group is now listing the threaded muzzle version, though none in stock. lSW811033 S&W M&P15-22 22LR 16" 25RD BLK THRD Product Specifications Manufacturer Smith & Wesson Model M&P 15 Action Semi-automatic Caliber 22LR Barrel Length 16.5" Finish/Color Black Grips/Stock Synthetic Type of Barrel Threaded Capacity 25Rd
We had a S&W 9mm target pistol for sale. We took it in on pawn and it came out for sale. I couldn't figure out what it was since it had no model # and didn't look like any pistol I could find. It's stainless, single action, Briley spherical barrel bushing (its not a 1911) and the most elaborate rear sight I've ever seen on a pistol. After much research I found it was one of several custom built by Steve Briley for the S&W factory team. It had one of sweetest triggers and smoothest slides I've ever felt on a pistol. One of the guys here bought it and still owns it.
OMG, Holy crap.....wanna talk about cheap? You should hold this Chiappa. It's got that distinct Crossman BB gun feel to it. And I don't mean the good models either. I may be afraid to shoot it. Holy crap! And they didn't even buy me dinner first. Oh, and BTW, it appears to be made in Dayton, Oh.
I hate the idea of that ejection port opening up right under my ear on every shot. Also, left handers and weak hand shooters are out of luck. The only bullpup I own is a FN FS2000 which ejects forward by the muzzle. Solves the bullpup's most glaring problems. But, it looks cool.
Ellett Brothers claims it's made in the USA???? I thought it was Philipino.
