We do that frequently. We buy junkers (even non-functional) firearms for $10-$15, then wait for a buy back and get $50 apiece for them. Makes the liberals feel good and it certainly makes us feel good.

I pillared, glass bedded and free floated the factory stock, as well as inletted for the Timney trigger I installed. I'd have to start all over again. >:(

I used to sell 4 or 5 of those Protec .25s and 22s a week. They made me a lot of money. Luckily, few people ever shot them.

You bought a Protec .25 ? That IS pretty bad. ;D

MIne? In 1999 I sold a Lorcin L9 at my gun shop to a man named Silvio Izquierdo-Leyva. About a year after he took possession of this pistol he used it to murder five people and wound two others. He pleaded guilty in exchange for life without parole.

I checked all our distributors. All sold out too.

I dunno. That's why I keep buying them. But to date my favorite is my CMMG Sierra upper installed on my S&W M&P lower into which I've installed a Timney trigger. Not my favorite rimfire but certainly my favorite "tactical 22".
