  1. Pretty clever.
  2. Glad to meet you Avalon.
  3. Same lower you're using with the .45ACP upper?
  4. Now this one I want. May have to check into a .45ACP upper.
  5. Sweet enough to throw a diabetic into a coma. So, they call this the whispering death?
  6. I see the MBUS are still attached. You've got a quick release on the scope mount?
  7. Have you tried a 16" bbl? Would it result in a significant loss in velocity or accuracy?
  8. Ooops, yeah, sorry. Bought one today.
  9. I hear they work well with .22lr cal ARs with lightweight triggers installed. I have a 3# Timney in mine. Easy to install and fun to shoot from the videos I've seen. Rock & roll.
  10. Nice project. Your wife's gonna beat your ass for putting the greasy old rifle on her sofa. ;D
  11. Yeah, that's what I was thinking, yep, for sure. What else?
  12. I was following along pretty good until...... ;D
  13. This looks like an ideal platform for action shooting games as well as an easy carry piece for long squak & bunny hunts. The cool factor is very high as well. I'll keep an eye on your build.
  14. That's an option I'm also considering.
  15. Longitude Zero posted about his new SIG P226 22 Classic which got me to thinking about mine. I've never really liked the size and shape of the P226's grips as is obviously true for many folks because SIG came out with the E2 grip awhile back. I much prefer the E2 grip frame and was thinking of converting mine to the E2 at a cost of a little over $100 OR I can buy a new P226 22 Classic (at wholesale) with the E2 grip already installed and sell my existing pistol for about the same price as the new one. Break even. The problem is that it may take awhile to sell my current P226 22 Classic seeing how they're a little pricey for the average 22 pistol shopper that frequents our shop. Keep and upgrade my current P226 (more expensive) or replace it with a new one (cheaper option) and sell the old one, which will probably take awhile? Either way I'm going to have that E2 grip.
  16. eight shot snub nosed revolver. Got a chance to play with one today. Yawn..... I was so overwhelmingly unimpressed. 12# trigger sucked. I'm glad I got a chance to play with one before I ordered one, which I was thinking of doing.
  17. Someone on another forum was confused by my use of the word "replica" in the photos. These are firing black powder cap & ball revolvers that replicate the original Colts, Remington & LePage. NOT non-firing replicas. Sorry for any confusion.
  18. Shipped to your door. Discounts for Tactical 22 members. Ask me.
  19. I really like the SMLE. Looks like you're becoming our military surplus guy. :thumb:
  20. I was in northwest Arkansas once and decided to drive up to Missouri but they were closed for the day. ;D
  21. Fine crop of rifles there. Sounds like you're getting plenty of trigger time too. :thumb:
  22. I'm pretty sure that ferrous metals, including those used in firearms, take on a magnetic charge when held in contact with a magnet for enough time. Whether or not this will have an adverse effect on your handguns' performance is unknown to me. For me though, I wouldn't do it.
  23. I bought a 9mm upper, a .40S&W upper and a .357SIG barrel for my P226 22 Classic. Four cailbers all in one carrying case. My universal pistol kit.
  24. Glad to meet you.
