  1. What exactly is the GSG-5 conversion?
  2. That sounds like a lot of rifle for $562 list.
  3. Oh yeah, and wear the grass skirt for a week.
  4. Welcome and glad to meet you. New members have to buy the donuts.
  5. I bought a no name claw mount through Amazon for $15 I think. Works perfectly on my GSG5.
  6. Glad to meet you.
  7. Vicious!

Welcome LUCKYB40. We'll be anxious to see and hear about your new Mossberg.
  11. Welcome Thanatos, Can't wait for photos and report.
  12. But I will say, the 22/45 is about 1.7 million times a better choice than the poorly built (IMO) Walther P22 that you were considering.
  13. I don't care for the polymer framed 22/45. I'm just too used to the steel framed Baby Nambu original version.
  14. The guvment just loves screwing with you. They're probably sitting around, looking at your application and laughing their asses off with that God like feeling of control over you. I mean, for Christ's sake, it's a piece of hearing protection equipment.
  15. You already know my choice. I don't think there's any comparison.
  16. Whatcha gonna use it for?
  17. I'd say that as long as this adjustment is done immediately and no one sees the stock in it's unpined configuration, then, no harm no foul. Keep in mind that during the few minute that the stock will be adjustable you will be in violation of the letter of the law. Caution and silence would be advised here.
  18. Sweet. You'll have both of them new rifles covered.
  19. Welcome scposubs. The new trend in tactical 22s does indeed interest the kids and helps get them away from the video games and learning some real world skills.
  20. Welcome to T22 HAVOC. Both rifles are good choices. Don't know about CT legalities. Let us know what you decide on.
  21. Probably not. I wouldn't have purchased this pistol if it hadn't come with a 9mm conversion. On a side note, since the .22TCM is adapted from .223 brass, primers and bullets, with a set of dies you'll always be able to make your own .22TCM ammo. I haven't seen the dies yet though.
  22. I used to live in Alaska and firearms (semi-auto, bolt or revolvers) will refuse to operate in the temps experienced there. Everyone lubed their firewarms with dry graphite powder. It's very messy and gets everywhere, but it works in the 35 degree below zero temps I saw up there.
  23. Fired the 22TCM ammo for the first time last night. Wowzer! Huge bang and muzzle flash. Very low recoil. Ammo ran through it like shit through a goose. Most fun I've had in awhile.
  24. Holy crap! You oughta hear the boom and see the muzzle flash that comes out the barrel of this thing! It is substantial.
  25. Welcome Jman. I'd say 25 degrees F then. I think you've answered that question for all of us. Thanks :thumb:
