15-22 owners who have shot or own sigs 522
21rides2rule replied to Jrod77's topic in S&W M&P 15-22 General
for the ones ive seen the mags dont seem to fit as tight in the sig as i think they should and what shooter said about the showy factor of the sig other than that i would also have to say that it just "feels" right when you hold it and at least for me has been an admirable performer and has been a tack driver right out of the box... either way i yo uwill be happy its a gun what more can you say... -
dang need to order a few or so then

lets all give a big amen for CHL... thats why im having my wife get one and having her practice on how to use it properly and what kind of mindset to have if something like that ever happens... (pray to god that never happens) those people are sick and deserve the death sentence... oh and why didnt they let him hang himself? or better yet get him to the judge and jury get a guilty and go old school a tall tree and a long rope...

I dont understand why everyone thinks walmart is such a great store they run all the mom and pop stores out of business and once they have no compition its like rodent said they will rape you, repeatedly...

Around here $20 a box is about the norm for bulk ammo be it Fed, Win, Rem, etc CCI is a couple bucks more for the standard velocity and everything else goes up from there...
-
thanks I had no idea how to do that lol ok thank you for the info

anyone had any luck with these or have any helpful insights? need a good red dot for my 15/22. thanks Sightmark Dual Shot Reflex Sight with Laser I really like the look of this one, like a cheap trijicon, but i want something that is fast to aquire a target (not sure this one will be that fast) ablity to shoot both eyes open if i want and if possible something cheaper that works well would be nice to lol Bushnell Trophy MP Sight or this one in 40mm Truglo Red-Dot Sights this will be one of the last mods for awhile and would like it to be good thanks

while i would love to have the extra coin to drop on some off those terrific $2k and up jobs, to me as long as the gun works and shoots reliably and puts lead on target thats all you need... the rest is nice if you can afford it but look at the ak47 not a pretty gun, not an expensive gun but it will still shoot and put your target down just as well as any super pricey ar... and the best explanation i have heard yet for carrying pistol is so you can fight your way to a rifle... price per pound and price for the fire power cant beat a rifle... my $0.02

if not both i would go with the gsg and get the s&w 15/22 later thats my $0.02

How can the gun companies stay in business?
21rides2rule replied to Michigan Joe's topic in General Talk
i like both on a firearm (wood/plastic) and i think that both have their place, my marlin lever action is a blast to shoot dead on accurate looks cowboy cool etc but she is heavy for what it is 7-8ish pounds, then you have my m&p15/22 it weights 5pounds or less and i would be more willing to abuse it in my various trecks though the woods than my marlin due to the fact it should show less wear than wood (scuffs scrapes etc) btw wish i could come across some of these cheap gun deals can not say that i have seen to many out here but then again i live in tx and everyone and their grandmother buys guns by the boatload lol -
Welcome fellow dentonite! what part of denton are you in? im off of teasley near 35
-
man i wish i was able to buy guns in 2s lol i have been looking at the sig 226 tac ops in 40s&w lately but i still love the glocks good purchase and congrats
-
dang that is such a good price for that gun, cheapest ive seen so far is right around $500, although i have not been on gunbroker to much yet... good score man and congrats

What rifle to take on self supported camping trip?
21rides2rule replied to Michigan Joe's topic in General Talk
Get a 44mag pistol for protection otherwise prob a shotgun with a slug barrel would be ideal if allowed, otherwise id go with a bolt action 22lr should be accurate, quite(er) and rather light... -
welcome to the board fellow texan!!!

yeah i was debating on this or the mosquito, went with the mosquito first but this is next on the list, from what ive seen it appears to be high quality and a decent price, and yeah the 1911 is one of my fav guns so getting to shoot a fullsized 1911 for cheap is very appealing to me as i have not been shooting the 45 much due to cost lol anybody with personal reviews post up i would like to know what your opions are on it...
