Neat little gadget for the Colt

Hi All, Ran across THIS in a Midway catalog for $15. Got two.. one fit perfectly on my AR, the one for the Colt required a little fitting, some file work, the hole needed to be drilled out a tad, then some bluing touch-up, but it works great!

I just ordered mine on e-bay. Midland wanted the $3.00 extra handling fee for an under $25.00 order.

Hey that's cool. I wondered if they worked on the Colt. Most of my AR-15 have something similar.

Brownells has them as well. They are mixed in with three page of charging handles here

I've got these on my ARs and find them very helpful.

Yeah, looks good and I imagine it works well too.  I've had one on my wishlist at Midway forever ,but  it's always one of the things I trim away when I order 'though.  Have to do that, I've got more wants than wallet.

Got mine yesterday, installed it last nite. As previously stated by TM I filed drilled and blued. LOL It's not a difficult mod at all, about an hour and a half tops. I'm very pleased..... :beer: Thanks for the headsup TM!
