imschur
All week they had everyone here nervous for the hurricane that never arrived. By lunch Friday they said Early was going to miss us with the actual hurricane but we would still get wing and a lot of rain. 6PM new the rain wand wind will be coming shortly and will be mixing with a storm from the west to bring local flooding.Well not a drop nor a breeze ever hit us.....,Im not complaining though. The south of England was destroyed. and this is what happened

imschur
I bought 140' of sump pump hose to pump out the parking lot from the 6" of rain we were expecting....Around here Im in what the weather guys refer to the 95 corridor. In this corridor we get weather different from the rest of the state because of the proximity to Long Island Sound. In winter if theres a rain/snow line ill almost always on the rain side. If there is monsoon summer showers Ill get those as well.... >:(
