lmao_37 Posted January 26, 2011 Report Posted January 26, 2011 I know its not a .22 and not tactical but as you see i have been busy with my mosin project ;D the stock has been varnished with 8 coats of satin finish varnish and has had some inletting done so the bolt will close all the way and the scope mount base is now fitted it took a little time to drill and tap the receiver and mount the scope i now cant wait to go to the range and try it out  the target photo was from Tuesday i fired 60 rounds and this was the second target i shot the Rifle was shooting to the right so i had to use Kentucky windage to hit now it has a scope on it i cant wait to try it at 200 yards ;D
lmao_37 Posted January 27, 2011 Author Report Posted January 27, 2011 Stock looks really good!I got the stock from Boyd's gun stocks its a walnut stock, it needed a little fine tuning for my receiver and a little light sanding and i fully floated the barrel and then 8 coats of satin finish varnish and rubbed down with wire wool, it has come up really good and thank you :thumb:
Microgunner Posted January 27, 2011 Report Posted January 27, 2011 The old Soviet work horse looks pretty damed fine all sported out. :thumb:
