Spent cash on my other love

No not that but new fishing gear

Bought a new spinning reel a Shimano Sustatin 2500 FE and a ST Croix Legend Elite rod to go with it. The reel just arrived and Im waiting for the rod to be built.

The Friday before labor day is the first of my two annual trips for steak and fishing that I posted elsewhere.

The reel is $299 the rod I believe is $319. It's decent stuff but not top of the line, not even close. Best i can afford though. Like anything else the good stuff is addictive and there's no turning back

I used to have a Ranger  363V Bass Boat. That was a costly hobby. I loved the boat, I miss the boat but I dont miss all the bs and bleeding cash

;D iam thinking about buying a boat to fish off the thing that's putting me off in the in laws will want to borrow it and if its like my wife's SUV they broke some stuff on it and didn't even tell her or pay for it to be repaired so what will happen to my boat they wont look after it.

Lol good idea :) pity the lake we fish is 4 hours away and we have a house there and no friends :( but there is boat storage :)
