rodent.22 Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 Yeah I thought he sounded like he had a bad case of shakes last week....
imschur Posted May 5, 2011 Author Report Posted May 5, 2011 The magazines arrived. They look odd being slightly shorter than a typical 1911 magazine.
imschur Posted May 10, 2011 Author Report Posted May 10, 2011 Well the pistol arrived or should I say I picked it up today. It's a very nice pistol and was a big hit at the gun shop. In fact they were encouraging me to sell it on the spot and buy something else LOL.Anyhow I have one issue. The recoil spring. I cant pull the slide back with my right hand. Now I would blame my lack of fingers but a few guys at the gun shop struggled as well. I recall my P12 was a bear as well when new.
rodent.22 Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 Maybe its not the spring. Perhaps the slide and frame are tight. Run 3-4 hundred rounds thru it, that'll smooth it up. Just a thought.
imschur Posted May 11, 2011 Author Report Posted May 11, 2011 It's a little of both. This barrel locks up tight, real tight. It's not a typical 1911/barrel bushing setup. It's bushingless
Microgunner Posted May 12, 2011 Report Posted May 12, 2011 Don't feel like the Lone Ranger, I had trouble racking the slide as well. I had to go overhand.
