No photos were available.

Don't know if this new pistol has been mentioned here yet.

Maybe your thinking of the Ruger 1911 on the cover of Shooting Times?

Yes, you're right.  It was the Ruger.  Boy, a lot of new 1911's.  Bet there's more made in the next 100 years than the first.

I'd bet you're right.

At one time the 1911 was looked down upon. I remember a freind of mine's father buying two WWII surplus, arsenal reburbished,  Remington 1911-A1s for $17.50 each in about 1965. Wow, times have changed.

Went and looked at the Sig 1911-22lr, looks realy good and I'm not a Sig fan, but it is the only one I've seen with all the safeties working. Doesn't make since to me to train with a pistol you don't have all the working widgets as the full caliber one.

Guys on other forums ate claiming that the Sig 1911 22 is a rebranded GSG 1911 from ATI. Does it look that way?
