Microgunner Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 Just bought me one. 95-98% according to seller. With (3) original mags, box & papers. Made my day.
Microgunner Posted October 2, 2009 Author Report Posted October 2, 2009 I already own a 106 Military Supermatic Trophy. This is the same pistol without the rear sight saddle, fluted barrel or muzzle brake. Kind of a budget version.
imschur Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 Nicest .22 pistol I ever shot was a very old High Standard. It was some sort of competition pistol with a bull barrel and adjustable sights. I recall it had a delightful trigger. Not sure if it was customized in any way though.
Microgunner Posted October 2, 2009 Author Report Posted October 2, 2009 Here's photos from the seller.
asmurff Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 Appears very similar to my Browning Buckmark Camper, I'd never heard of it till here but looks good
Microgunner Posted October 10, 2009 Author Report Posted October 10, 2009 Pistol arrived yesterday. It's even nicer than the seller described. Some days you just get lucky.
imschur Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 Thats great. Will you take some pictures? Im really digging this gun of yours. Ive never bought a gun online. I need to understand how this works.
asmurff Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 Gotta love when it is better than described.

imschur Posted October 10, 2009 Report Posted October 10, 2009 Jeez man that is a real beauty. Thanks for posting those. I think I have alot of those manuals in pdf. I wonder if they are worth uploading The Hamden facility used to be located a few miles from where I am now. I was told from some old timers that back in the day there were all kinds of .22 pistol shooting leagues around here. High Standards were the gun of choice.
Microgunner Posted October 10, 2009 Author Report Posted October 10, 2009 You noticed it's a brass bullet frame.
steel609 Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 I don't think it's in the same class as these, but Budsgunshop.com has a stainless High Standard - http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/654_774/products_id/411537940
Microgunner Posted November 19, 2009 Author Report Posted November 19, 2009 Not really. I put 20 rounds into a bullet trap at about 15' for function, but that's all.
