Chiappa M4-22 Has anyone got one or checked one out?

The local gun shop had one on the shelf $299.00. I got to hold it and give it a quick look at. Wondering if it is ok or junk?

Anyone know?

all reviews I've seen are good.... The American Rifleman has a great review in the new issue that I received Friday...:thumb: The flash suppressor has the shape but is not cut thru, held on by a set screw.The barrel is not threaded. The stock is fixed and the bolt release is molded on, non-functional. The forward assist is non-functional. All don't make a hill of beans, it's said to be a great plinker! Oh yeah- welcome to the forum!

Not slamming the Chiappa ($309)product but I looked at CMMG ($365)beside the Chiappa today . for the additional $56 I would go CMMG.
