techmike Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 Just called in, gotta be there at 0830. They are calling in a huge jury pool - groups #2 thru 243! So I need advice, do I wear a pro gun shirt and hat? >:D

asmurff Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 A tee that says "Kill'm All Let God Sort'm Out"
Tal Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 Call the bailiff aside before they call you and tell him you're on bond for Bank Robbery...Works every time... >:D
techmike Posted September 26, 2011 Author Report Posted September 26, 2011 Sat in chair #5 all day, then dismissed by the defense at 4:30 pm. Trial is two Hispanic guys that (allegedly) were on a bit of a crime spree last year. 7 count indictment. Was a gang of 6 or so, but only two defendants left, apparently the rest have plead to lesser crimes and plan to testify on their former buds. The judge asked if anyone knew anything about firearms, so I think that the defense did not want a NRA instructor in the jury.
imschur Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 Damn and they looked guilty to me.
techmike Posted September 26, 2011 Author Report Posted September 26, 2011 Damn and they looked guilty to me.Truth!
bdavison Posted September 27, 2011 Report Posted September 27, 2011 Yeah, typical defense lawyers...instead of worrying about the criminal charges, lets get em off on a anti-gun agenda technicality, and prevent any jurors with firearms knowledge, or expert witnesses from blowing their defense out of the water.

Remember, presumption of innocence.
