imschur
Saturday we got hit with a massive snow storm. There was a lot of heavy and wet snow. A big problem with that. The leaves are still on the trees. Over 800,000 without power in CT. I have power. As luck wouls have it this is also a vacation week for me. My work is without power as is my old ladies parents. Lots of folks doing stupid shit with generators. The attached image breaks down the outages at the time of this post. The damage is 5x that of Hurricane Irene two months ago.We dont expect there to be work at all this week. Now get this, outside contractors from other states have not been coming because the utiity company never paid the bill from irene. They just made a payment Wednesday.

asmurff
I am not a fan of snow, one of the reason I live in NM we get very little here and it usually melts by late afternoon. Those of you in the northeast have just been getting pounded by bad weather. Hope it gets fixed sooner than later, I know it is putting financial strain on companies and the older infrastructure along the east coast.
