submrg58 Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 Hey folks. Just purchased a Colt rimfire M16 spr and look forward to some indoor fun at the local range here in Wilmington, NC. Surfing the net and found this sight and decided to join some like minded individuals who enjoy the sport of shooting.Looking forward to learning some tips and tricks and sharing info about these new weapons as I think they are becoming very popular.
mwingfield Posted November 10, 2009 Report Posted November 10, 2009 Hello, just became a new member today. I thought I'd mention that I purchased a new Sig Sauer 522 last week in a retail store, Goods For The Woods, in Durango, CO. I've fired around 100 rounds of Federal bulk ammo through the rifle with no misfires. It's the most fun I've had with a .22lr EVER!
Madhouse Posted November 11, 2009 Report Posted November 11, 2009 Welcome aboard to both of you !!
spectre30 Posted November 19, 2009 Report Posted November 19, 2009 Stumbled upon this site and glad I did. Great to see people giving the lowly 22 the props it deserves. I own a 1022 and haven't had the chance to even break this one in yet. I had a 1022 stolen from me when I was 25. I'll be honest, I cried. Had it since I was 12. It was bone stock with a cheap Tasco 4X but kid you not it could hang with any target grade 22 to 150 yds. Cant wait to dress out my new 1022!

spectre30 Posted November 19, 2009 Report Posted November 19, 2009 Here's a pic of a stock I just DuraCoated. This one is a variation of a digital pattern with my own twist. The dot pattern adds a level of depth and texture to an already great pattern. I plan to introduce a new line of camos with similar qualities. Hope you like!
imschur Posted November 19, 2009 Report Posted November 19, 2009 Thats friggin awesome. I saw some FN's done kind of like that at the FNforum but they lacked the texture. Wow just wow. Feel free to start another thread and display more of your work. I dont mind you plugging your business.
spectre30 Posted November 19, 2009 Report Posted November 19, 2009 I really appreciate the compliment. I didn't want to come off like I was spamming. I love working with DuraCoat and like to share some of my work. You can check me out at www.tactical-advantage.net. None of my new personal patterns are posted yet because I need to get them copyrighted. Check back soon and hopefully I will have my new stuff out. Thanks again for the compliment!
FS2KSTD Posted November 21, 2009 Report Posted November 21, 2009 Welcome to all the new T22.net members :beer:Very nice work with the DuraCoat spectre30 ... I see my FN FS2000 in that Rhodesian pattern and I'm liking it!
spectre30 Posted November 21, 2009 Report Posted November 21, 2009 That Rhodesian pattern is cool. Your FS2000 would definitely look sweet in that pattern!
Madhouse Posted November 21, 2009 Report Posted November 21, 2009 Welcome aboard to all of you new folks!
