hkm4
Specifically LA area. It would be nice to hit the range with some people with the same rifle...or at least the same caliber. ;D

Solscud007
is it true that the Colt 22LR is legal for CA? A gun friend of mine looked into CA law about firearms. Could only bring his M1A1 into Cali. didnt want to register his pistols and could ot bring in his Olympic Arms .556 or AK47. But he is pretty sure that my Colt is legal for california. If I ever move back to cali. Thanks
rodent.22
I do believe everything on the weapon is Cali-legal except the magazine. The .22 is exempt from the ''evil features'' list, but the magazine must be pinned or replaced by a 10 rounder. Please correct me if I'm wrong, guys. tpanfil
With a 10 round mag you are good to go, the .22 is not a center fire, all the "evil" features aside from the magazine do not apply.
serious22plinker
temecula, CA here. pinned 30rnd mag. not my first "tactical" rimfire. i've also got a ruger 10/22 with muzzelite bullpup conversion. just curious if my 25rnd butler creek mag would be considered "pre-ban" as it was purchased early 90's? hmm...anyway i will be making visits to the range in rainbow soon. just got my colt AR-22 yesterday!
