imschur Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 How many is enough ?I have about 30 FAL mags,20 AR mags yet I only have 2 for the P12 and 92F. Lately Ive begun to gather .308 mags for the DPMS LR-308. I think I have about 6 so far.

I might have a few more single-stack 1911 mags though.I never really bought into the mentality of having hundreds of magazines, but some of my friends have those quantities.
imschur Posted November 28, 2009 Author Report Posted November 28, 2009 Its funny when I bought my FAL mags years ago before the internet I had to buy them in a bulk pack new in the wrapper for a couple dollars a piece. Shotgun News was the place to search.
asmurff Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 I always watch Midway for sales on Chip McCormick 1911 mags. I think I still have 3 of the original Act-Mags that came with the RIA and the Citadel I want to place, I keep those for snap caps and reloading drills.

The AR mags are the exception since I have 3 AR's and the FS2000 that use the same mags ... 25-30 of those; total. I'll probably have 5-10 GSG mags eventually but I just bought the rifle so I only have 3 at the moment.
ollie the dog Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 Well as we carnt have handguns over here now I,ve got loads for my rifles in all the calibers I shoot Most for one gun is the spikes ST22 I,ve got 12x 26 round 2x 10 round and just waiting on my 50 round drums getting here gonna have 2 of them to start with Ollie
