imschur
I know the Sig 1911-22 is the Same as a GSG 1911-22. Does anyone know where to get magazines? I have heard there is a Kimber that uses the same magazines but I have not verified the information. Is this magazine interchangeable with any other .22 1911's ? Microgunner
I just read on another forum of a shooter using GSG 1911-22 magazines sucessfully in his Kimber rimfire. So by extrapolation I'd guess that Kimber magazines will work in your SIG. imschur
The Kimber magazines do not work in the Sig 1911. The reason is the Kimber mags are plastic and too thick, dont even fit in the magwell of the Sig. I can see the Sig 1911/GSG 1911 mags fitting in the Kimber loosely though. The basic geometry looks the same on both mags. The Kimber mags look to be very similar if not identical to the Marvell Precision magazines.
