The Sweetie and I went to see the 3-D movie Avatar tonight. WOW. repeat WOW

Ive been wondering about this movie. Do you think theres any benefit to seeing the Imax version?

Haven't been to a movie theatre in years. Guess I'll see it next year on Blu-Ray.

I thought it looked a bit much in the commercials, but I and my daughters went to see it the Wednesday after New Years day. I was pleasantly surprised it was a bad ass movie  :thumb: :thumb: I give it TWO THUMBS.

The IMAX 3D worked great and even though the seats were leather and reclined, I stayed awake through all of it.

My wife and daughter went they loved it, I just don't like theaters, I'm always uncomfortable in one. Now if we had reclining leather seats in one here hmmmmm!?!?

Just heard from a buddy of mine who took his wife to see it last night - he said there was a definite tree-hugger liberal type of plot going on (not sure what he meant exactly).

One could see it that way, but they also slaughter one another :grin:

I would go see it again
