The little woman and I like to drive around looking at wildlife. We got to see an eagle in the wild a few weeks ago and decided we need binoculars in the car. Any recommendations at a reasonable price?

Got my Sweetie a pair made by Vivitar for Christmas, it has a digital camera built in. I have not received any feedback yet, so I can't tell you if they are good or not - the cost $40.

TM

I have a pair of Bushnell 12x50 regular size that would be good for this, I don't think I paid more than $50 for them but I bought then quite a few years back.

I also have a small pair by Tasco, not much bigger than a cellphone, and light enough to carry on a belt. Looks like they are less than $20 but they aren't the best for fast focus or very long range.

I haven't shopped for binoculars in years. I own (2) pair. Leupold compacts and Fujinon. The Fujinons were pricey, around $900 but the Leupolds were only about $250. Both are excellent and have lasted for years.
