American Eagle

Anyone have any experience with American Eagle 38gr HP ammo? I have access to some 500rd boxes but haven't seen much info regarding it. I have always liked AE .223 55gr ammo but know nothing about the rimfire? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I'd like to know also, I bought a couple of bulk boxes up in New Hampshire this past summer. I guess I'll break down and shoot some of it this weekend if we don't get slammed by the snowstorm...

I havent seen that stuff around in a while

I used it in my AR-15 with the Colt .22 conversion and it functioned as decent as anything else Ive put through it that it liked. My model 41 didnt care for it but its a fussy bitch. Funny thing though was rounds that didnt work for me my buddies 10-22 and Mark II gobbled up without a hitch.

That rang a bell, checked my odds-n-ends ammo box - have one partial box of it. Price tag said $1.50.
