what are you going to primarily shoot at? With my AR-15 in .22lr mode I use an old Tasco PDP4 red dot for popping cans and jugs at blinding speed. For precision I use a fixed 4x scope. Im still able to hit target pretty quick with the 4x.

On my GSG-5 Im using an NCStar STP3942G and its a lot of fun

well its gona be used for target shooting and i might be shooting rabbit and vermin with it but i do wana get good at shot 100 yard with as well

The scope from Cheaper Than Dirt is the one I put on my 10/22 and is fine for plinking, it has 11 settings for reticle color and brightness, not that I understand all that lol.

i think the only problem i might have is the height of the mount and the height of the front sight iam still not sure what to buy

I have that BEC scope on my Colt M-4. No Problems with it at all. (Other than the light intensity control was very stiff) Zeroed at 50 yards, one dot up for 100yards (BVAC .22lr ammo). Has very bright optics for a small diameter scope, fairly thin mil-dot reticle and it is a good deal for the $$. That being said, it would not be my first choice for mounting on a "business" gun. From working on the light control knob it became apparent the scope in not sealed, as the illumination led simply pokes down into a cavity in the tube. So, internal fogging could be an issue in some areas of the country. But for plinking and hunting small game I think it is ideal.
