rodent.22 Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 My reverse flash suppressor from Black Rifle Works was here at the house when I got home tonite. To install it I had to turn my barrel thread converter's outside diameter down from 7/8'' to 3/4'', since the converter threads are inside the reverse suppressor. This I accomplished by mounting on a bolt, chucking in a drill and turning it with a file. After cleaning the adapter up, I cold blued it, threaded it tight on the Colt, and then put red thread locker on the 1/2'' X 28 threads inside the suppressor. When it sets up overnite I'll be able to turn the assembly off for maintnance and cleaning. It gives my Colt that 11 inch barrel look....LOL
27 Beck Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 Good looking mod. :beer:That red loctite ought to keep things from getting loose. :thumb:
