I enjoy fishing but wouldn't call myself a fisherman mainly because I don't do it that often and NM is one of those places you really do need a boat to fish.

Love fishing - Did lots of (river) salmon/steelhead fishing when I lived in Cali, also lots of moutain lake fishing, and ocean fishing. I now live a couple of miles from Lake Erie, perch, walleye, bass, cats crappie....Going fishing this Friday as a matter of fact.

That is why when fishing in NM you throw toothpicks in the water first, because laughing fish with pieces of bait stuck between their teeth is so unsightly

Today will be fun - going to the range in the AM, then out to Metzger's Marsh (a pier in Lake Erie) and go fishing afternoon and evening.  :thumb:

Your so lucky going on a fishing trip i was ment to be going on saturday/sunday with my brother in law on a fishing trip he called and cancelled at lunch time today so resorting to plan b cleaning the house out next door.
