actually the number 1 image was using the slave aimed at a silver reflector. Thats why it looks slightly different

Heres some neat images. They were shot as medium jpegs with no post processing. The only thing I did was crop and compress them for size. The neat thing about these images was that I used a slave flash from a Nikon macro lens attachment. The slave flash was aimed at the guns top strap while I shot from the front and overhead with the on board flash. The D90 was used as a master in "commander mode"to fire the slave. The images were hand held in auto. Im pretty surprised at how well they turned out just screwing around

Claw mount for 2nd gen gsg-5
imschur replied to pitmanr2003's topic in GSG-522, GSG-5 Mods and Upgrades
If you notice that mount is from Combat Optical which happens to be one of our sponsors. They have pages of GSG-5 items and also have package deals on popular items for the GSG-5. Before you drop cash at Amazon maybe you want to poke around the combat optical site and see your other options and see if theres any deals. jmho -

barrels probably costs what i payed for the gun back in 94 ;D

yeah, I had my Marshal TSL modded and retubed a while ago. Not that it needed it. Guitarists and shooters are very similar in the gear quest
