Yeah, it's great. And it's private too, which is cool, no jackasses from the general public. It only costs $140 / year with access to two ranges, but the other is quite a drive and I've never been. That other one has rifle ranges out to 1000 yds.

Welcome to the forum! That's odd that your stock won't slide. Mine has worked fine from day one. You're saying you can see the detent clear the tube but it still won't slide?

I do all of my rimfire at my steel silhouette range, chickens at 40yds, pigs at 50 yds, turkeys at 75 yds, hogs at 100 yds.

My old-ish, loosened-up Kimber 1911 is the best shooter in my safe. I take it with me almost every time I go to the range, and whenever I have a particularly poor session with another pistol I just pull her out and make myself feel better about my shooting.
