The kit came with a Preval sprayer and worked quite well, they can be had on Amazon for around $10. So it was pretty easy to pour the paint and hardener into bottle and mix, just make sure you clean the sprayer nozzle and feed tube well after every color.

I finally finished a project I starte more than a month ago, which was interrupted by life. This is my Citadel (Armscor) 1911 with 3.5" barrel. It use to be my carry gun until I got my XDS. So I decided to Dura-Coat it, just to try my hand at the process.

Watch the videos from the Article 15 Clothing website http://www.article15clothing.com/ mostly ridiculous, a bit raunchy at point but funny, cause we've all know someone like these guys.

Welcome from New Mexico, you've got 22itis it is clear so this is a good place for you. I had a 9422M back in the 70s have always regretted selling it.

You and me both. I was born there and still have family in the area. This shit has got to stop, the mayor needs to be arrested, then round up the organizers and charge them with terrorism.

Those are nice looking grips, what kind of wood is it?

Colibri have a muzzle velocity of 420 plain and 590 super. Haven't tried the supers yet, but if you every have need to shoot a small varmint in an urban setting know one would know you had out of a bolt action rifle.

I had to cancel our Tactical Rimfire match today, it is raining. Our range is 12 miles off paved roads, and the dirt ones don't shed water well.
-
I shot my last Tactical Rimfire match using my 10/22 take-down, absolutely no feeding or firing issues. The fiber optic sites are fantastic, fast on target and easy to follow, I shot one of the Steel Challenge strings of 6 targets in 4.43 seconds.

I've tried a few handgun caliber shot shells called snake loads and wouldn't want to bet on them in a pinch. Pissed of rattlesnakes are not fun.

Saw this just yesterday in my Shooting Illustrated magazine. Could be fun msrp $375 http://www.mossberg.com/product/rifles-autoloading-autoloading-rimfire-blaze-47-wood/37255

The Colibri ammo in it sounds like a good idea. I currently keep my Savage Mk2 loaded with them in case of coyotes. Pistol might be a better player at that task.

Thanks all. Still looking around, it will be a .22lr revolver of some type.
-
Anyone have any experience with the Heritage Rough ride .22 revolver. The price is so low it almost scares me off.
-
Nope just checking it out to see if it would handle all 3 sizes. My gun club has the same rule on length and shot.
-
Took it to the range today. I handled 2-3/4, 3 and 3-1/2 inch shells with only one failure to feed which was most likely my fault ( the 3-1/2 turkey loads were kickers and a flinched bad on one which caused the failure to feed. There is a recoil reducer supplied, I'm going to put it in before I go back out again. If it will cycle with all shells I just leave it in. Need to practice at home to get mounting it properly down pat.

My gun club has; 5 stand, skeet, trap, sporting clays and I believe a practice area with a wobbler?
-
I jut bought a Stoeger M3500 in 12ga. I want to use it to learn to shot the different clay sports. I'll start with Skeet supposedly easiest to learn. I've never done any kind of clays so far, but it should be fun (I hope) skill to learn. I'll post a picture of it when I get a chance and my first impressions when I get it to the range.

Weekly, I pull one gun out a week to clean and re-lube them. That way everything gets a check every about every 4 months. and fresh lube.

Narrow minded and "brand name only" people drive me nuts.
