  1. Welcome to the group. I like what you've done to yours. I believe the 10/22 ranks high on the fun gun meter. Is the stock a butler creek?
  2. Even though I'm not big fan of stainless steel pistols, the Ruger looks right done so.
  3. I've started looking at over/under shotguns. Which would be used for Sporting Clays and such. I like what I see in the CZ Canvasback and Mossberg Silver Reserve Field. The Stoeger Condor looks interesting but I know little about their guns, but the more I read they seem good. Anyone with experience good or bad.
  4. Don't you just love good customer service!
  5. Welcome to the group.
  6. I have a timmey in mine and it makes a world of difference. If you want accuracy or to compete with it a better trigger is almost a must.
  7. I vote for the bore snake also.
  8. I just ordered a CMMG .22 conversion kit for my ST15. It comes with 3 26-rd magazines. CMMG must be doing well, the dealer isn't expecting their next shipment until 21 May.
  9.
  10. I use mainly Federal also, 40gr Automatch for our tactical matches and 36gr hp for small critters. I've never had a problem with accuracy or function. I use these in my 10/22, Browning Buckmark and a Marlin bolt action. With the bolt action I can shoot under 1" groups all day long off of a bi-pod.
  11. Well it is finally done, except for arranging things on it to work best. The hardest part was getting the 2 pegboard sheets to line up with each other.
  12. Welcome to the group.
  13. Before the days of the brass deflector in the M16/AR15, I had one go inside my fatigue shirt and under the t-shirt, I still have a burn scar and it happened at least 35 years ago. My ST-15 does have a stronger recoil than my 10/22, but it is nothing serious.
  14. Welcome to the group. 10/22 is a great learning rifle. Good choice of schools.
  15. Very nice!
  16. Owner's Manuals have certainly gone down hill in recent years. I'll gladly write them for the firearm companies, if they send me the gun and supply the ammo and cleaning supplies >:D
  17. Is the Lee Enfield a modified or production rifle?
  18. I just ordered a pound of flechettes, which I'm going to experiment with in 12ga shotshells. Plus a slingshot and ammo for it.
  19. Or 78th day of captivity and they've started a new torture.
  20. How long were you in the ER for the stitches afterwards.
  21. I had already bought a shotshell reloader, a Lee, just haven't set it up yet as I've been to busy to finish my reloading table.
  22. We are working on the club for the funds for a dueling tree in Tactical Rim Fire. BTW I sucked at both 5 Stand, and Sporting Clays, but hey challenges keep you going.
  23. I went to the gun clubs shotgun clinic today to learn how to shoot Sporting Clays and 5 Stand. I think this is going to be fun
  24. Tactical Solutions rear adjustable, with pictanny rail for other optics, I tried a red dot on it but it wasn't strong enough for the NM sun. Red fiber optic front post.
  25. Glad to have you. Please share your build with us.
