(Stupid) California laws are state laws. The Postal Service is a federal agency, and while we are supposed to respect and uphold all laws, what we do is move, sort and deliver mail. We do not enforce state laws. Unless you insure a package, you do not have to identify the contents, (even then I would simply enter the manufacturer's part number, not a description), other than to say no when the clerk asks if it contains anything perishable, liquid or hazardous. If anyone is at fault it would be the seller that shipped a proscribed product into California. Also welcome to the forum!
I work for the USPS and there is no law or regulation that prohibits sending (empty) magazines in the mail. Package them well, seal it up & send them off. TM
I ran across THIS and it is awesome. It even has the reticle for my Leatherwood scopes - you can pick your scope from a long list to customize the app to your rifle/ammo/scope. Fun to play with, accurate and free. I guess I need one of those rail mounted cell phone holders now.
I had one in California, a single shot MP5. I could hit magpies with it, and while it wasn't lethal, it would knock off a few feathers, and the flock soon relocated to another tree, not the one in my back yard. It was fun, always wanted to get one of the motorized ones.
For those who haven't heard, Washington State just passed 2 new laws - gay marriage and legalized marijuana. The fact that gay marriage and marijuana were legalized on the same day makes perfect biblical sense because Leviticus 20:13 says, "If a man lies with another man they should be stoned." We just hadn't interpreted it correctly before!
What changed from the last time you were able to post a picture? Do you have windows update turned on? There might have been an update that changed permissions, or sharing..... You can go to {add/remove programs} , click "show updates" and see if there is a new one. Try uninstalling it and see if you can get to your pics normally. FYI, I run with updates off, seen too many PCs that grind to a halt after microsoft updates in the background.
I hear ya, people that have never fired 1000 .22lr rounds in their lives are buying 5000 or more. But, just because the federal danger to our rights seems to have abated, many states are or have enacted draconian laws. Folk are stocking up. Easy to understand, but tough for the rest of us not to be able to buy any. I think that by summer you will see former hoarders off loading some of their stuff.
