I just read on Fox News that some poor schmuck in Connecticut has been charged misdemeanor and felony charges for killing a 460 pound bear that was in his garage/back yard. Misdemeanor for killing the bear, felony for a pistol possession. Guidelines from DEEP (Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection) recommend that anyone who spots a bear should "enjoy it from a distance." Doesn't say why the felony charge. Hell of a shot for a pistol.
I know we have had threads about the Freedom Group acquiring firearm and ammunition companies - does anyone know who the Freedom Group is? I received an email from a friend that states George Soros is behind Freedom. And of course the ultimate goal is to buy up & destroy the firearms industry in the US.
A heads-up for men who are regular customers at Lowes, Home Depot, Costco and WalMart. This one caught me totally by surprise. Over the past few months, I became the victim of a clever scam while out shopping. Here is how it works: Two nice looking, college age girls will come over to your car or truck as you are packing your purchases into your vehicle. They both start wiping your windshield with a rag and Windex, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy t-shirts. When you thank them, and offer them a tip, they say "no", but instead ask for a ride to McDonalds. You agree and they climb into your vehicle. On the way, they start undressing. Then, one of them starts crawling all over you while the other one steals your wallet. I had my wallet stolen March 4th, 9th, 10th, twice on the 15th, again on the 17th, 20th, 24th and the 29th. Also several times in February, and very likely again this upcoming weekend. So, tell your friends to be careful. What a horrible way to take advantage of us older men. Warn your friends to be vigilant. WalMart has wallets on sale for $2.99 each. I found even cheaper ones at the dollar store for $0.99 and bought them out at three different stores. Also, you never get to eat at McDonalds. I have already lost 11 pounds just running back and forth from Lowes, to Home Depot, to WalMart. So, please send this on to all older men that you know and warn them to be on the lookout for this scam. (The best times are just before lunch and around 4:30 in the afternoon) ;D
