I have been wanting to get one for my HD shotgun. As long as the magnet is coated so it wouldn't scratch the gun's finish is all I really worry about. I guess if you were shooting steel cased ammo, there might be an issue. :confused:

If it is TripleK from San Diego, I have nothing but praise for them. They went way above & beyond in making me magazines for an old pistol. I paid for 2, ended up with 5 working mags. :confused:

Well, most of the dealers will be able to accept CCs, but some might charge you the 3% mark-up. Private sellers won't. At least that has been my experience in Cali, Oklahoma, Ohio and Michigan. Have fun!

For fresh Lake Erie crappie, bass and perch: fillet the fish, dip in egg, then a 50-50 mix of corn meal and crushed Ritz crackers, garlic salt & lemon pepper to taste. Deep fry. :thumb:

Was a great two weeks - only trip was a day trip to Put-in-Bay, which is South Bass island in Lake Erie. Fishing was mostly Lake Erie - good fishing but hot & humid. Came home last Friday with 16 crappie. Fried them up last night, and they were very tasty! My fishing spot is like 25 miles from my driveway.

[Heavy sigh] It was a very fast 2 weeks.

Question, how did it shoot out of the box, with the original handguard and iron sights?

I know this is a new rifle, but have you checked that the barrel nut is tight? Those groups resemble what my Garand used to produce when it had a very slightly loose gas cylinder.
